Eww. I think I might keel over if I see one more erectile dysfunction commercial. My heart goes out to those who are experiencing this issue. I just really don't want to hear it described to me in a commercial with "mood" music in the background while I'm eating dinner. I know its already been covered and said by other people. But seriously, we let that be shown and discussed on television, but go up in arms over a brief and technically covered boob that any 10 year old who was watching the Superbowl had already seen. Seriously, Victoria's Secret commercials are worse than some other stuff on television.
Speaking of idiocy and sex. Apparently, sex education has become more about scare tactics and brainwashing than actual education thanks to our current administration. Go here. There is also a link on the site to the actual study done by Rep. Henry Waxman of California (which I've read), but it doesn't seem to be working. I am pro-choice and do not agree with solely teaching abstinence to our nation's youth. But even if you are not pro-choice and do agree wtih abstinence-only programs, you shouldn't mask the truth out of some sick and twisted desire to deceive children who are then going to most likely find out the truth the hard way. I'm definitely not one to take anything at face value, even when I agree. But if this is true, I am truly disgusted.
