Failure and Celebration

Well well well...I failed miserably at NaNoWriMo...but no fair! I had to work a lot! And...there was a really cool video game I had to play...and...

Okay, maybe I'm not cut out to do something I've never done (and that I always thought I could do) in a month. But, I can still work on my stories. Just at my own pace. I didn't want to abandon my practice story anyway. I think that was part of the problem!

Off to the holiday party at my job tonight. Should be fun...I haven't gone in a couple of years because I didn't really know anyone and I'm not one to shcmooze with mere acquaintences. But now I do and it should be interesting. I wish I had gone last year though in order to see a few things that I heard happened. Oh well, the free food and alcohol will make it worth it if it's not interesting :)
