12 Months of Blogging

Boohoo, I missed my 1 year blog anniversary, May 12th. I put a reminder in my phone and everything...but apparently I don't know how to use the task feature. Either that, or I mistook the alarm for another one that has been going off every day for like three weeks that I subsequently silence out of frustration instead of actually doing what it says to do. Well, at least I got the month down.

Not much going on these days, but have indeed been busy at work. That probably accounts for not being online much lately. Plus, we're really behind on TiVo'd shows so there's been a lot of TV watching lately, as well. Let's see, I now have ONE more week of school, ever!! Oh yeah, my parents were here again this weekend (they were just here two weeks ago). My dad had to fly somewhere out of Dulles real early on Saturday, so they drove up and my mom stayed with us until he came back real early on Sunday. That's too much traveling for my taste, but that's my dad. It was fun. We went to a home improvement store to see a free class on putting down laminate floor (since we did ours out of order and started before going to this sort of class). It was weird because I saw someone from work there. And I KNEW I would see someone I knew. I don't know how I knew, but I just did...and I decided to listen to myself and not dress like a bum ;) In fact, I looked quite cute in some kind of surfer looking elastic skirt that really had shorts under it. No bulges where one doesn't wish to see bulges...it was quite young and trendy...yuck ;)

Ya know, I've noticed for a little while now that I will frequently say something like "not much going on lately" and then proceed to go on and on about all these things that have happened, hehe.
