Okay. I can't stand it anymore and I feel like I have to do something about it. Coincidences. It is insane. I keep having them. This has been going on for years, but has been in a spike for a couple months now (though it has died down recently). I think I am going to start a blog to put them in. Hopefully I'll remember to update them. Unfortunately, ever since I started noticing them, I don't think even one coincidence was actually "meaningful". They are all about something I saw on TV or heard on the radio or have to do with throwing away a receipt or something.
Tonight's coinkidink: I'm listening to the Adult Contemporary Pop artists in my music collection tonight on shuffle. Songs by Selena keep coming up (I have two of her albums). Now, I haven't listened to her CDs in years I think. I don't think I've even thought about her but a couple of times in that span. So, today I picked up a book by John Edward, the medium, in our book exchange at work. I read a bit of it when I came home from work. But I just picked it up again after what I thought was going to be my last post of the night. He is talking about a reading he did for someone and he has the transcript of the reading in the book and he mentions Selena in his reading he is doing for some woman. Now, it would be weirder if a Selena song was playing while I read it, but no such luck.
Not going to create it quite yet because I'm not sure what I'm going to call it. While looking around and the web for inspiration for the name, I came across many websites about coincidences. I have never actually looked this up on the web before, even though I usually do it for everything, and I noticed that coincidences seemed to be happening to me more than normal about 7 years ago. Wonder what I'll find...

Of course, if you did set up such a blog, the coincidences would immediately dry up. ;-)
Arg. I didn't think of that. And that is totally something that would happen to me. Actually they seemed to have already dried up a bit. I don't recall slamming my food down at lunch as a coincidence happens in several weeks.
