The following has been moved to the top of the post for disclaimer purposes.
Okay, maybe attribute this to me being a rookie. I know that I don't need to summarize my whole fricking day at the end of the day. And that no one really wants to read an entire summary, not even my hubby. And that it is amazing that I can even talk so long when I did so little. That's insane. Consider it a first and a last. I hope I can pull that much out of my ass for my Learning Theory class assignment tomorrow.
End disclaimer.
Wow, so honestly this has been one of the most unproductive yet interesting, informative and introspective Saturdays I have had in a long time. Thank you mister Phillip.
Let's see here. I did all but one thing I said I would do today (oops its actually Sunday now). I finally got some food, yummy Domino's deep dish with pepperoni with tomatoes, everyone's favorite fleshy fruit. I've never put tomatoes on a pizza purposefully before, and I probably won't again with Domino's pizza. It was really a letdown. I was trying to simulate this one deep dish pizza at Uno's which sorta comes with tomatoes. I also got some cinnamon stick thingys for the sole purpose of trying to make my alone day more fun by eating food that tastes really good. I watched probably way too many Golden Girls episodes, though since I TiVoed like 30 of them, this is a necessity...I gotta get those offa there. I messed around on my laptop the whole day, while simultaneously watching Golden Girls and sitting on the couch (seriously, the whole day). I definitely looked around at things that need to be cleaned in here, in addition to adding to the mess. The day got more interesting as it went on, but not in a good way. My poor Pepper dog peed on the floor while laying down...very strange. Though not really strange in relation to all her issues lately. So, I gave her a bath. Of course then she peed again, but at least while standing up. I blowdried her (with the cool air option mind you) before taking her outside because she looked so unhairy with her hair still kind of wet. I think she is so old and ailing now that her hair is not growing anymore and has thinned (though the thinning is apparently possibly due to some doggie hormone imbalance). I didn't want to take her outside with her skin all exposed. I didn't have a proper poop bag and thought there was one in the car and that I would remember all the places that her walking-while-pooping self pooped. There wasn't and I didn't. I managed with the first old bag I could find in the car, the Apple store bag I brought home hubby's iPod mini in. Man, I was secretly saving that bag in the trash bag of the car because it was such a neato bag. I knew that trash wasn't going anywhere anytime soon (I bought the iPod for Valentine's Day). Oh well. I struggled to sorta keep her off the grass that they sprayed with pesticide while not aggravating her back leg problems. I failed miserably and imagined the stares of disgust from the family getting out of their car nearby when they most likely saw my dog flailing around on the ground unable to get her legs underneath her properly. I always feel like people are going to think that I abuse my dog or something. Why on earth do they spray grass with pesticide anyway? Anywho, I didn't play video games, however the amount of time I spent today killing brain cells in front of the TV screen totally makes up for it. I did alter an article on Wikipedia!! Woohoo, I changed the word "from" to "of" in the following excerpt: "...which featured vocals by Kelly Rowland from Destiny's Child...". Bully for me, to steal a phrase from someone. After watching TV as much as I possibly could, I switched to that someone's publishing-worthy and enlightening blog while listening to CDs that my hubby has so graciously put onto our computer so we can play it through the TiVo. Great and great! As for music, I love this group of music that I have been playing on shuffle lately that we, for lack of a better name, call Classic Eras: some Guitar Rock Time Life CDs (which is basically "80's music"), Jethro Tull, MTV the First 1000 Years - New Wave (also basically "80's music"), Pink Floyd, Queen, Styx, and Erasure. Erasure doesn't really belong, but I couldn't really fit it into any of the other music genres. I hate categorizing music for that very reason. Ya know, I need some instruction on linking. I really have no clue when to link and when not to. I suppose it is up to me in the end.
Wow this is long, at least my hubby will read it. Aw, poor him who came home un-kilted and severely sunburned (even though he knows he gets burned by simply thinking about the sun). Okay, apparently I love blogging. I've never been able to keep a journal, and I don't know why. That's a lie. I think because I always thought it had to be some amazing thing where I wrote all the most perfect thoughts in the most perfect possible way, like in a movie. That's dumb. This is kind of like a diary (apparently a long-ass one), and for some reason I like it. Perhaps the idea that random people might come across it and have an opinion. It's like that having sex in a public place knowing that you might get caught thing. It's also a way to be closer to my husband. We talk, but usually about my work crap or non-deep things or for an hour about what we want to eat for dinner. We watch a lot of TV. And that's great because I love our shows plus the ones that I watch that he doesn't. But I still think it is too much. Anyway, if he reads my blog, he knows just a little more about me that I want to share with him, but don't always get around to sharing. And if any of my few friends read it, they can also get a glimpse into my thoughts way more than usual. I'm only open when I wanna be I guess and when it is at least somewhat appropriate. Being open not in real time works for me!
