Sunday before the big Sunday

Aside from the 4-hour shopping extravaganza today...the most interesting part of the day have been the removal of a king-sized tumor on this poor young girl, and the wonderful view of my cat licking his you know what hole a few minutes ago. Hooray for life.

On a lighter note, hubby and I have decided to delve into Stephen King's The Dark Tower book series. I have read the first 4, and thought I had a one up because I read the fourth one right after it came out back in like 1998...but then I completely lazied out and the last three have now been written. So now I have to read them all over again. Oh well, the books are awesome so I'm not so mad about it. I barely remember them anyway.

Good news!

Stephen King is writing and I forget the name of the guy doing the art, a Dark Tower series of comics. It's a prequel about Roland and the world he lives in. It explains the Gunslingers and from the previews seems pretty badass. I still shop at Big Planet and when the issues come out, I'll set you up.

Yeah I heard! I already know a little prequel info from the fourth installment in the series. It's almost all prequel...and I usually have issues with prequel anything, but it was good!

Um, I still have your Daredevil and Sandman comics (maybe a couple others)!
