Cruel Intentions, Part 2
Well, well, well...the picketers are going to stop in Oklahoma...for now. As a follow up to my Cruel Intentions post a little while back, here is an article that talks about the fact that some states have gotten the legislation through to prevent picketers from a Kansas church from being cruel and picketing solider's funerals (again, not because they are against the war, but because they think the soldiers are being punished for defending a country that harbors homosexuals). They say the legislation is shredding the Constitution...I say good riddance.

There's a difference between free speech and disrupting a funeral. As the old saying goes, one person's right to swing their fist ends at the other person's face.
They can keep all their crap on their website, as far as I'm concerned. They don't have to appreciate soldiers who put it on the line for them - that is their right. But their rights do not include protesting at their funeral.
