Well, yesterday was very eventful. I had another slew of coincidences all during the evening. I didn't have the energy to get online to post them, so here I am today. They definitely are not all good ones and could probably be explained somehow, but here goes:
When I got home from work, I picked up my new book by John Edward, the medium (a lot of things seem to be surrounding this book). The chapter I left off on had a title for the first section "A roo in the headlights". I thought it was weird that I was talking with Phillip earlier about PetPets (a pet for a neopet) on Neopets and one of the ones I pointed out that I liked was called Baby Blu (short for Blumaroo). It's a little kangaroo looking thing. The whole chapter I was gonna read was about John being in Australia. However, I didn't read anything past the title because I suddenly was overcome by some thoughts about religion. I put the book down and started a conversation about it with my husband. The point I brought up was that I thought it was interesting that there are so many different religions out there, each with their own "conduit" to God or whatever each calls it. Islam has Mohammed, Buddhism has Buddha, Christianity has Jesus, the Baha'i faith has Baha'u'llah (an interesting religion I read up on a while back). Anyway, in a nutshell, I told my husband how I think that they are all attempting to do the same thing and connecting with the same "God". Well, later in the night, I got back to reading the book and there was a part where John says some religious people were protesting outside of his car and yelling him. He then proceeded to write a little about the exact topic I had talked about earlier, that he thinks everyone has their own framework (Catholic framework, Muslim framework, Jewish framework, etc.) to be spiritual. Also, last night, hubby brought up a burger commercial with Paris Hilton that is supposedly kind of racy. He described the outfit she had on as having two strips going down over her chest and made the movement with his hands to show how they were. Well, that day at lunch Phillip had told us a story about a woman on a beach who was wearing that exact same type of bathing suit and he also referred to it as two strips and made the movement with his hands (in the opposite direction than my hubby did, though).
I'm not going to list the other three or four things that happened here and there last night cause they aren't as cool. But, what the heck is going on?? Haven't had any coincidences today, though!

When you started talkin about Roo I somehow thought A.A. Milne would figure into it somehow. :-)
Haha...well, either its another coincidence or he meant to do it, but, also in that chapter of John's, he talked about how he and his mother came up with three or four signs that she could use from the "afterlife" after she died to show him she's around. One of them was Winnie the Pooh.
