I am the lamest person on earth. I am 26 years old. As Ted and I watch this landscaping program (to get ideas on what to do with our backyard), the people are talking about evergreen trees and how they are...surprise!! ever...green. I may not remember, but to my knowledge, it has never dawned on me up until this point why evergreens are called evergreens.

Believe it or not, there actually are evergreens that are not "ever green." Tamaracks turn red and drop their needles in the fall.
So you can just say the tamaracks threw you. :-)
Yes!! Tamaracks are an exception! I was just testing everyone to see if they knew that :)
